Watching at the Zoo …
December 7, 2020
Sitting, parked along the curb, while waiting for my rider to emerge after enjoying their shopping experience at Walmart I noticed a lady walking along the same curb toward my vehicle from behind. She was carrying two bags in one hand and her cell phone. Her nose was glued (figuratively) to her cell phone. I watched her walk and it occured to me that if she didn’t look up … she was going to ….. BANG! … she did! She walked right into the back of my car, thumping her shin against the trailer hitch. Then, it got interesting … she started yelling at me and cussing me out for “being in the way and not moving!” I smiled and waved at her … and (don’t tell anyone this) I blew her a kiss! So help me, I don’t know what got into me!
Later in the day, while waiting for another customer, I watched as three separate women walked out of Walmart and walked right into the blue tape that defines the path to follow when entering and exiting the store. They all acted surprised, as if the barrier jumped out in front of them … and then looked around to see if anyone was watching. I got the eye of one of them and waved with a smile! 🙂 Then it occured to me that Linda’s Norwex Business is advertised across my back window … and the motto “Changing the world one house at a time”. Ugh! ;-/
Going to the Walmart Zoo is fun!
