The Journey

Do the Doctor Appointment Shuffle

Surely there must be a dance like that! I’ve been involved in a good part of the morning trying to coordinate the friendly meshing of a myriad of Dr. Appointments. The good thing is that my Endocrinologist appointment which was scheduled for April 9 is NOW scheduled for March 19. But to effect that I had to move my Oncologist Appointment to from the 19th to the 21st. And in order effect that I had to move my Dermatologist Appointment to TOMORROW instead of the 21st. Did you understand thyat? I don’t know if I do, but my girlfriend assures me she is on top of it. The process exhausted me!

I have never been a member of Weigh Watchers … I think its more of a thing for women. However I have become a weightwatcher and have noted that I have lost 22 lbs in the last 30 days. I won’t be hawking a new weight loss program though. It’s rather concerning to watch ones waist waste away. If I had been trying to do that I’d feel better about it.

I think I’m going to name the tumor that is hitch hiking under my arm, close to my heart. It is, after-all going to be an intimate companion for some time into the future. I’m open for suggestions regarding what that name should be. Come on … what are your thots?

Name it GOOD RIDDANCE. “Good” because all suffering has spiritual benefits, and “Riddance” because the is what we ask God for.

Bon Débarras – French translation of Good Riddance has a “ring” to it. 🙂
