PO Day One

It was a long day of 11 hours at the hospital yesterday. It took 7 hours after surgery for the spinal block to wear off enough for me to urinate, thus narrowly avoiding the next step of a catheter! Linda left around 6pm to get prescriptions at WalMart thinking the pharmacy closed at 8pm. It closes at 7pm so she narrowly missed getting there late. God was gracious in timing our actions!
Getting all the details and home arrangements taken care of upon return home with an excited Hairy Potter zooming around the house and the girlfriend’s feet was, at the same time comical and a nuisance….it was a busy for my love and I had to insist that she sit down and take a 10 minute break to just relax.
Now sitting here for a spell, at 2am on the side of my bed with my knee bent at 90 degrees. I have no pain at this point and am able to get around reasonably well with the walker.
