Zombie Induced Weeping in Dubuque

LYFT Chronicles 220218 – A science major in college, he is. Firmly grounded in reality, he is not! My task was to take him to the campus where he will, ostensibly, be learning about organic chemistry and other such things. He confessed to me that he thinks Dubuque would be an ideal setting for a Netflix program called, “The Walking Dead”. I’ve never seen the program and likely never will … but because of this program this poor soul in the back seat cannot even look at a delivery truck on the street without feeling “weird” and wondering what sort of ghoulery is inside. Furthermore, he confessed that he gets attached to the characters in the program and sometimes actually cries when one of them meets a bloody, zombie induced end.

I must confess that I got attached to my cat, Noelle, and cried when she met her end. But this makes me fear for the future of our nation and our world. And now … everytime I see a delivery truck on the street … no, I won’t indulge that line of thought!
