Mini-Sewing Retreat – Day 1

While my girlfriend spent the day at Lindale Mall in Cedar Rapids, selling NORWEX products, I spent the day at Westside Sewing just up the street. These are the folks who sold me my sewing and embroidery machines, have provided training and classes and now have graciously provided space for me to work while my girlfriend does her thing at the vendor shows! It was a productive time for both of us! When I joined her after the store closed at 5pm I stopped at the Daily Thread in the mall and picked out a dress and a blouse for her. 50% off everything in the store! Two clearance pieces for less than 17.00! I love shopping like that!
