Coffee Anyone?

12924403_10153708732902772_5666836500244311945_nWe drink a lot of coffee at our house.  My daughter asked me the other day if I drink a good amount of water each day.  I told her yes … about 14 cups or more.  She seemed pleased at first and then her face morphed into a skeptical one as she asked, “Coffee?”  I was caught!

Linda and I have found a wonderful company that sells the K-cups for our Keurig. The price is great (as low as .39 per cup of coffee) and the coffee is fresh roasted.  It hasn’t been on the shelves for months.  You can mix and match flavors and schedule regular deliveries, pausing or canceling deliveries at any time.  If you check them out, and decide you want to try them PLEASE USE THIS LINK.  If you use the link, and sign up, we get the benefit of 10.00 gift.  I think you will like the selection, the quality and the service … they even offer spousal counseling on the phone … keep reading!

Anyway, I used their on-line chat function today to inquire about adjusting my regular order.  I got a woman named Hazel and couldn’t resist asking if her last name was “Nut”.  It wasn’t, poor thing!  Hazel tried to help me solve the issue of running out of coffee before the next regular shipment was due.  She suggested I order 12 boxes every three months instead of the current 8.  I explained to her that I wouldn’t object to that but that Linda would not be happy with me.  I told Hazel, “Linda’s first question will be, ‘Where do you expect me to store all the extra coffee until we need it?’   I can see her standing there in the kitchen and hear her asking that question!”

Hazel’s response was, “Well, that might be a problem.  Would it work to simply tell her to call me and we’ll talk about it?”    Ha!  I like that lady!

We worked out an alternate solution that will not require Linda getting phone counseling from Hazel at Angelinos.  I think we will all be happy with the result.
